The exhibition Io sono confine / I am border moves from the research of Antonino Milotta, a doctoral student in Social Sciences at the University of Genoa with a project aimed at identifying methodologies and artistic practices that investigate the phenomenon of migration. The exhibition is curated by Pierre Dupont (Giulia De Giorgi, Michela Murialdo, Roberta Perego) with Anna Daneri.
I am border / I am border intends to reflect on the concepts of identity and memory, movement and transit, material and immaterial borders, and recounts the theme of migration through a plurality of artistic proposals, both from the point of view of research and methodologies, and from the point of view of formalization and media employed (sculpture, installation, video, audio, painting, photography). The exhibition presents the works of 28 artistsə.
