The Galerie Placido in Paris is pleased to host the apnées project curated by Lionel Rothschild from December 15^th 2022 in mid-January.
Born from a series of meetings that started with the 2020 lockdown, the exhibition is the expressionof a small alliance of Italian artists in a foreign land who shared opinions, reflections and languages at the moment of maximum constraint.

Constructed as a shared correspondence, the exhibition reaffirms the need, in the face of non-isolation only pandemic but media, of confrontation in the arts. The selected artists all have established careers and yes lend themselves here to the collective opportunity to juxtapose their research and leave the possibility for the public to be surprised. On display works by Samantha Bertolotto, Veronica Botticelli, Gioacchino Pontrelli, Guendalina Salini, Caterina Silva, Alessandro Valeri.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an interview with artists created by Valentina Casacchia.
