Happiness is not accepting one’s own limitations.
Art suggests a way, or rather a shortcut, to overcome one’s limits and strive towards happiness.
To be happy it is enough to have a chin on which to anchor a Nimbo or a square halo. Even a sculpture can be worn, just like a nimbus. To go beyond oneself, abandon the rational and anthropocentric vision to become a pedestal, eliminating the distance between oneself and the work and looking at what surrounds us from another point of view, outside of us.
And this is the objective of the artist Sergio Breviario, who exhibits his wearable sculptures in the spaces of the Surplace Art Space
